PROCRASTINATION!!!

My name is Emily and I procrastinate.

There, see, the first step is admitting you have a problem.

The second, clearly, is blogging about your procrastination issues instead of getting off your ass and doing what you need to do.

I started out the day with the best of intentions. No shit, I was up at 7:00, coffee was had by 7:30 and then, well, it all went to hell.

Unproductive things I have accomplished since 7:00 am :

1. Coffee
2. Make a CD
3. Talk to Sarah
4. Call my brother a gaylord and argue with him about certain MSN faux pas
5. Chase Harley outside
6. Dance in the living room to my new CD (that could be considered exercise)
7. Hold an airband contest between the cats and I. I won.
8. Eat Cheerios
9. Update blog

Sound fun? Maybe. The problem, Mark is away, Joe is away and the house is a disaster (most mess created by the aformentioned boys).

I should be cleaning. Hell, I should be FINISHED by now. I made a really big freak out, lose my shit, deal about the house being gross and me cleaning it in the absence of Messy and Messier. I'd best make a go of this cleaning house nonsense.

Oh and by the way, once I have finished cleaning I have to attend Sarah's super fantastic 30th birthday BBQ (Mark's Mom is my date) and then off to Kanata's one and only bar, O'Connor's. This includes a pre-BBQ trip to Costco - I am in charge of buns!

Crap, off I go. Well......maybe just one more spin around the coffee table.

Way to use my own insult against me, Gaylord.

I am so kicking your ass when you get home.

What CD prompted the solo dance party??

It was a compilation of some of great solo dance/airband songs - of the 80's and 90's genre, of course. Including, but not limited to, Oh Sherry, Jesse's Girl, I've Had the Time of My Life, Fernando, Waterloo, and Push It - by Salt n' Peppa.

There was also some Cranberries, which was an excellent choice when I was pretended to be a tortured soul kind of girl with my own band.

Happy to make you a copy.
